Not the DroidDeck that runs Steam games on Android: that's a different project with the same name. This one controls your Windows PC.

Your phone is now a Stream Deck.

DroidDeck turns the Android phone in your drawer into a control panel for your PC: shortcuts, audio, media, live stats, Discord, OBS, soundboard and smart lights, one tap away.

Free and open source · no account

Needs Windows 10 or 11 on the PC, and an Android 7+ phone or an iPhone/iPad browser.

ConnectedStream
Example deck. Go on, tap the buttons.

Everything a deck should do. On hardware you already own.

Buttons sized to your screen, with live state: they light up when you're muted, recording or the lamp is on.

The real thing: DroidDeck on an Android phone lying sideways, running a demo profile with live monitors, timers and smart lights.

What the buttons do

Shortcuts & apps
Key combos, programs, files and links, and multi-actions that chain steps.
Audio & media
Mute any app, set speaker and mic volume, and play, pause or skip on any player Windows knows.
Live monitors
CPU, GPU, RAM and network gauges, refreshed every second.
Streaming & calls
Discord mute and deafen, OBS scenes and recording, and a MyInstants soundboard that plays into your mic.
Smart home
Home Assistant and Smart Life lights and plugs, with dimmers, colours and real state.

Ways to use it

iPhone, iPad or any browser
The PC serves the deck itself: open it in Safari or any browser on your network. Nothing to install.
USB cable
Plug the Android phone into the PC when the Wi-Fi is slow or locked down.
Automations
Buttons that press themselves: at a set time, when an app opens or closes, when the PC wakes up.
Bring and share decks
Import your Elgato Stream Deck profiles, or send one as a link or QR code.

Up and running in three minutes.

  1. Run it on the PC

Run DroidDeck-Setup.exe. It waits quietly as the DroidDeck icon near the clock and updates itself. Nothing else to install.

  2. Pair the phone

Install the app, then right-click the DroidDeck icon near the clock → Pair device and scan the QR code. It reconnects by itself from then on.

  3. Build your deck

Right-click the DroidDeck icon near the clock → Open in browser, drag buttons around and pick actions. Changes reach the phone instantly.

Plays well with your setup.

  • Local first. Phone and PC talk directly over your own network. No account to create.
  • Paired, not open. Every request needs the key from your QR code; the editor only works on the PC itself.
  • Light on the PC. Stats are only collected while a phone is connected.
  • Scriptable. A documented local API lets your scripts press buttons, or you can build your own client.
For developers: press a button from a script

Any action can be sent from the command line with your pairing key. API reference

Give that old phone a new job.

Free and open source. You need both parts: the Windows app runs the actions, the phone app is the buttons.

  • 1. Windows appDroidDeck-Setup.exe

Safe to run: the installer just isn't signed yet. If Windows says “Windows protected your PC”, click More info → Run anyway.

  • 2. Android appDroidDeck.apk

Safe to install: it just doesn't come from the Play Store. The first time, Android asks you to allow installs from your browser (“install unknown apps”). Allow it, then open the file.

iPhone or iPad? There's no app to install: with DroidDeck running on the PC, the deck opens in Safari. How it works
